Commonwealth Banks insurance arm, CommInsure, were fined for misleading advertising but the fine which could have been $8m was only $300,000.  We discuss how claiming via personal insurance can be challenging and what options you have if rejected similar to a CommInsure client who received a $169,305 payout after the Financial Ombudsmen Service (FOS) got involved.

$18.9 Billion – that’s the amount of shareholder dividends to be paid out in September, a record for Australia.  Louis explains how this happens in more detail.
