Fortune favors the brave

Market Uncertainty creates Investment Opportunity

According to an article by The Motley Fool the ASX has recently started heading south. The S&P/ASX 200 index (^AXJO) (XJO.AX), one way that the overall market is measured, has fallen by nearly 5%.

It appears as though the market is looking nervous….  The Motley Fool however believes that market uncertainty can open the doors for savvy investors to dive right in and take advantage of the apprehension of others.

The article notes that uncertainty can create some excellent buying opportunities. On the other hand when the market is thriving, it can be hard to get your hands on good deals.

According to The Motley Fool, one of the best ways you can prepare yourself for this buying opportunity is to create a watch list, just in case the market continues its decline. This list will be used to identify the shares you’d like to buy (or a current positions you’d like to add to), and in what price range. Then all you have to do is sit back and watch.

Remember fortune follows the brave and if you’ve done your homework, you could well and truly prosper from a market decline.

At UGC, we believe there is a good chance we could be in for some softer markets in the months ahead. This creates buying opportunities.
